It's been a long week

It’s been a long week, and it’s only going to get longer. Last week, on Wednesday, I was in Reno to install 5 systems in the Reno Rodeo box office. I had to turn around and go back to Reno on Thursday, because I was short a port on the network switch, and a computer that I brought up on Wednesday wound up not working. So I got the box office installed and everything was working great.

This week, I had to go BACK to Reno, because they were having a problem with one of the ticket printers. I got up there and after playing with the printer for 3 minutes (mostly blowing the dust out), The printer was working great again.

Today, after I got home from work, my supervisor called me saying they were having problems with the printer again and that I had to go to Reno tomorrow. I have no problem going back up to Reno, except for the fact that tomorrow is FRIDAY. I wouldn’t really have a problem going on a Friday, but I have to be back in Oakland on Saturday to work the A’s game. So I have to drive up to Reno and back on a Friday, which means I’m going to be sitting in traffic all day.
