Photowalking at the California State Railroad Museum

Yesterday I had the opportunity to join photographer Thomas Hawk, and Robert Scoble of the ScobleShow, for a day of Photowalking at the California State Railroad Museum. There were about 25 people in the group. We toured the museum for a couple hours, taking lots of photos. I was taking so many photos, that I kept loosing the group, as they were getting ahead of me.

When we were done at the museum, we went to a local Mexican restaurant to get some chow. I definitely needed refueling, having just shot 610 photos. After we left the restaurant, some of us went back over to the river to take even more photos.

Last night I spent about an hour and a half processing a total of 740 photos. I came up with about 140 photos that I uploaded to my Zooomr account. I need to learn how to use Photoshop. I’ve been using Picasa for processing, and although it’s nice for some photos, others need heavier processing.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking constantly about the photos I didn’t get while I was at the museum. I’m going to have to go back sometime.
