Had a Great Vacation

Had a great vacation with mom. We flew to North Carolina and visited family for a few days. We then drove up to DC and visited a few Smithsonian museums, as well as the Washington Monument, and Lincoln Memorial. After a few days in DC, we drove to Mount Vernon to see Washington’s plantation.

After that, we headed toward Richmond Virginia. The rental car decided it didn’t want to run anymore, so we got stuck on the side of the freeway. We waited about three hours for the tow truck to show up, but they brought us a replacement vehicle. We went to a hotel and crashed for the night.

We drove back to north Carolina and spent the weekend with family again.
