Happy Earth Day, people! What did I do to the the Earth today? I drove to work. What did I do at work? I made lube oil for your vehicle so you can go to work too. Seriously, folks. That’s what I do at work. I make lube oils and fuels. And I love it. I also do firefighting on the side on the fire brigade. What’s that? You want to know how much free gas I get? I get free gas all the time! When I FART!!! Unfortunately, I pay the same for gasoline as you do.

So before you whine to me about gas prices, let me say this: IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT DON’T BUY IT!!!

On Rebuilding My Credit

For the last year, I’ve been doing my best to pay off my debt and rebuild my credit. I’m doing pretty good. I have two debts left, amounting to about $1200. I should have this paid off by next month. Already my credit score has been raising. I’m very happy about this.

Anyway, things are going very well for me right now. I need to keep saving money so I can buy a car, and eventually a house. I should probably do that in the opposite order, but I’m not ready for a house just yet.

Finally Upgraded Wordpress

I’ve finally upgraded Wordpress. I think I was a good 4 releases behind. Yeah, I’m such a slacker. The main reason for waiting, was that my theme wasn’t compatible with one of the newer releases of WP (like 4 releases ago). The guy who designed the theme updated it and now it’s compatible (yay). So anyway. It’s done. And I have nothing else to say at this moment in time.

I haven’t been posting many photos lately. Mostly due to not taking the time to take photos. I’ve been feeling compelled to write lately. I was thinking about turning this blog back to a written blog.

A lot of things have been going on in my life lately. Last May I started working for Chevron Oil Refinery in Richmond, CA. I’m loving it. This is one of the best companies I’ve ever worked for. As well as being a plant operator at the refinery, I’m also on the fire brigade. I went to our corporate fire school in February out in College Station, Texas for a week. I had the time of my life. I can’t even begin to describe the feeling of fighting a fire. It was awesome.

Apart from the new job, I’ve recently quit playing World of Warcraft. I’ve lost interest in it. I also wanted to free up my time so I can start working on my social life. I must say, it hasn’t helped much so far. The most I do, really, is visit my parents, and go to the store. Other than that, I sit on my couch watching movies and tv shows on my computer. Not much else really.

I’m trying to make some other changes in my life, but I’ll get into that later.
